As of April 2020, I will only be offering online based lactation support. This is due to both the ongoing COVID-19 crisis as well as the birth of my twins. I offer a variety of lactation support services for both prenatal and postnatal clients. If you don’t see what you are looking for here, please feel free to email me and get in touch and we can find a way to meet your needs.
Individual Services
First-time Home or Hospital Visit – ¥8,000 – At our initial consultation, we will begin to address any possible breastfeeding issues and develop a plan to help you achieve your breastfeeding goals. Transportation fee included within the Tokyo’s 23 Wards. If outside central Tokyo, the transportation cost will be additional. This appointment usually lasts around 1.5-2 hours.
Subsequent Visits – ¥5,000 (Same transportation cost rules apply)
Private Prenatal Breastfeeding Preparation Class – ¥10,000 – This class usually lasts around 2 hours and your partner is welcome to attend with you. During this class, we will talk about the basics of breastfeeding, what to expect in the first few days after baby is born, and make a breastfeeding plan so you can achieve your breastfeeding goals. We will also go over how a partner can support you, if applicable. This class is hosted at a location of your choosing. Same transportation cost rules apply.
Group Workshops
Breastfeeding Preparation Workshop for Pregnant Women
There are currently no workshops scheduled due to the ongoing crisis with Covid-19.
Packages
Prenatal and Postnatal Lactation Counseling Package – ¥10,000 – Save money by booking a package! This package includes one prenatal consultation (60 minutes) where we define your breastfeeding goals and make a plan to help you achieve them once baby has arrived. The second consultation is either at the hospital or your home after birth to address any specific issues or just give you peace of mind that everything is going well. Two visits total. Same transportation rules apply.
Free Services
As a lactation consultant, my primary goal is to support the community and increase breastfeeding rates among it’s members. For this reason, I offer free email consultations to answer any questions you may have. Please see my Contact page for more information.
Payment Information: I accept payment via cash or bank transfer. All payments must be made prior to or on the day of our scheduled appointment unless otherwise agreed upon. Again, email consultations are free of charge in order to make this service accessible to everyone.
