If you are anything like me, phone apps have become a part of my daily existence. From social media to music, I feel like there is an app for everything these days! (Still waiting to download that contraction tracker app…) During my pregnancy there are a few apps that I’ve been using a lot so I wanted to share my favorites with you!
Pre-Pregnancy and Trying to Conceive
Clue: Clue is a cycle tracking app that I really loved to use before I got pregnant! Clue allows you to track your periods and predict when your fertile window is (good if you are TTC or avoid pregnancy!). You can also customize what you track every day, for example, bleeding, emotions, and the condition of your skin. It’s not always easy to remember how you are feeling at different times during your cycle so this app helps you remember. It’s super user friendly and fun to use every day I found! Right now I’m on day 273 of my cycle since I’ve been pregnant for almost 39 weeks! HA!
Here are some screenshots of the app so you can see what it looks like.

Weekly Pregnancy Tracker
The Bump: I’ve been using The Bump since the beginning of my pregnancy and I love it! I know many people use apps like BabyCenter which I’m sure is good too! I liked The Bump because of the fun and colorful interface and the interesting articles.
Here are some screenshots of the app:

The app also features a Real Answers section where anyone can post questions about pregnancy and get answers from both professionals and other moms. It’s easy to find answers to your many questions using that! My husband has also really enjoyed seeing screenshots from this app telling him where baby is in his development over the course of my pregnancy. He has them all saved in his phone!
Last, two lifestyle apps that I have been enjoying during this pregnancy!
Nike Training Club+: If you read my pregnancy fitness routine, you know I love this app! It features tons of workouts you can do at home with little or no equipment required. I’ve been using it throughout my pregnancy and have definitely felt like it helped me retain my fitness level. Definitely check it out if you haven’t already!
AllRecipes: I haven’t been using this app for very long because I usually just use it on my computer but I love the app too! I think what sets this app apart from other food apps (or even Pinterest) is that you can actually see reviews for the recipes posted there. You know the recipe is good if 4,000 people have made it and it has 4.5/5 stars! You can also customize the types of meals you want to show up on your feed (healthy, Italian, Japanese, etc) so relevant recipes will always be in plain sight. Since I’ve been cooking more at home lately, this app has helped inspire so many dinners! I would definitely check it out if you are in need of some inspiration or motivation to cook!
I hope some of these apps will be as helpful to you as they have been to me!
